At present, Teichner Preserve is blooming over an area of 41 acres. Since, she is connected to the place from her childhood, Teichner preserve has got many of her sentimental values attached to it. Martha worked for different radio and TV stations in Miami and Michigan before she started working for CBS. She had joined CBS in November 1977 as a news reporter in Atlanta Bureau. Couple of years later, they appointed her as news correspondent and she went on to become the first correspond at CBS who was reporting on the Crisis in Beirut.
