The couple has a daughter, Joan Celia ‘J.C’ Lee. She has few acting credits, a book, and an app. Their second girl Jan Lee passed on earlier three days from her birthday. The family lived in high end estates including their $4 million villa in Hollywood Hills. Joan similarly featured with her husband occasionally in some of his acting roles. In September 2012, Lee underwent a surgical operation, this led to the cancellation of all his planned shows at conventions. Eventually, Lee retired from the public domain by 2017 before passing away on November 12th, 2018 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles – California, six weeks to his 96th birthday. Shortly before his demise, Lee had unveiled to the public that he had been battling pneumonia. In February, he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, after the state of his health degraded. His death was attributed to a cardiac arrest which caused a respiratory failure and further congestive heart failure. As per his will, his body was cremated and the ashes given to his daughter.
