Morgan Aiken played as a point guard. He started playing basketball throughout his time at Ali Umanu Middle School in Hawaii and his freshman year at Mauna Loa High School before his family relocated to Guam in 2009. In Guam, he continued with his path of basketball.
He missed an opportunity to transfer to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) due to low credit. He became part of the Guam national basketball team that won the gold medal in the 8th Micronesian games held from July 20th to 30th, 2014 in Pohnpei, Federal State of Micronesian.

He moved to Japan when he was undrafted into the NBA draft of 2015 and started his professional basketball career with the Aika Northern Happinets, a Japanese professional basketball team Akita and played in the B.league.
When Aiken moved to Japan and signed for the Akita Northern Happinet, he became the first person from Guam (organized incorporated territory of the United State in the Micronesia Subregion of the Western Pacific Ocean) to play professionally in the B.League.

In 2010, when Aiken was in his second year in high school, he made the all-island team in the Guam High School; no other student in the second year made that team.
When he became a Junior in 2011, he won the State Championship, came second in the annual NBA Slam Dunk Contest which was held during the NBA All-Star Weekend held in Asia, Japan, and was honored with First Team All-Island for the second time in a role.
He was projected to be the most valuable player in the league but trouble stroke; just two weeks to the beginning of his final year in high school, he fractured his left foot. He could only play for half his final year.
Even though he played only half the season, he was still named on the Second Team All-Island. He graduated from High and moved to Pennsylvania for his college education.
In 2015, he was not drafted in the NBA. After the end of college basketball, he moved to Japan where he joined the Akita Northern Happinets. There were so many issues with the process he signed so he decided to move to the Tokyo Cinq, Reves, a professional basketball team that competed in the third division of the Japanese B.League for the remainder of the season.
Aiken then signed for Kagawa Five Arrows based in Katamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture the following season in 2016/2017 season.
In 2019, he signed for the Saitama Broncos. He is not playing professionally after he left the Broncos but he remained the youngest player from high school to sign a professional basketball contract at the young age of 21.

Aiken made some money playing basketball in Japan but injury struck again in 2017. He had to return to Guam for his ankle to be healed. During that waiting period, his contract expired, money stopped coming in but Aiken didn’t just have only basketball in him but business was there too.
