Glee is one of the biggest TV Series of all time, undeniably, and many people made it into the iconic success story that it is today. He did not graduate from his first high school, Culver Military Academy, and instead went on to graduate from Lake Highlands High School in 2001. There, he was part of the school wrestling team, and even though he was gifted in the sport, that wasn’t the career choice he pursued; after graduating, Salling joined the Los Angeles Music Academy College of Music, based in California, and began his venture in music by learning the guitar, and eventually teaching the basics of the instrument to others.

Salling could play the guitar, piano, bass guitar, and drums. He made his own music and his solo debut album “Smoke Signals” was under the pseudonym Jericho. It was released all the way back on the 8th of February, 2008, under Jericho Records. His second solo album, “Pipe Dreams” was released on the 25th of October, 2010, in partnership with Fontana Distribution. He was also the sole producer and composer for that album. From his time on Glee, he covered many famous singles over the years, including “The Lady is a Tramp” and “Sweet Caroline”.
Salling also acted on other projects, namely “The Graveyard” (2006) and “Children of the Corn IV” (1996). The part he is known for, Noah Puckerman in Glee, was officially made his on 2008. However, it was announced on 2013 that his character would no longer be a recurring regular, and he would only appear as a guest star. His life had taken a turn for the worse in January of 2013, after Roxanne Gorzela, Salling’s ex-girlfriend, accused him of forcing her to have unprotected sex without her consent. The allegations were denied by him, and he filed a suit for defamation of character. Two years later, in March of 2015, the two of them settled the case outside of court.
On the 29th of December, 2015, Salling was arrested as a suspect of owning thousands of photos and videos portraying child pornography after the law enforcement got a tip-off from one of his exes. He was later bailed out, but a search warrant and a thorough sweep-through resulted in the police finding over 50,000 files of child porn, downloaded on his computer and stored on his flash drives.
One year later, on the 27th of May, 2016, he was charged for his crimes. On the 30th of September, 2017, he finally pleaded guilty, and was sentenced with serving around five years in jail and entering a treatment program. The date for sentencing was set on March of 2018, but he went missing shortly before the date. On the 30th of January, 2018, he was found dead from suicide.
