Louie was born in 1953 in Saint Thompson Parish, Jamaica. His birth name is Leonard Ford. He is a Dance hall reggae artist and an actor. He was nicknamed ‘The Original Don Dada’ as he played many gangsta roles in his movies.

He died at 66 in a car accident on September 30, 2019 in Ontario Canada on Highway 89 that involved a truck and a personal car. The police said that Louie died on the spot but the truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
