The Italian descent Joseph Elliot Girardi was a former baseball player and current Major League Baseball manager for Philadelphia phillies. The 55 years old Girardi was born in Peoria, Illinois, United States of America on 14th October 1964. He was the son of Jerry Girardi, an Air Force veteran and Angela Girardi. He has four siblings. He got married in 1990, to his wife Kim innocenzi. They had three children; Lena Yvonne Girardi, Dante Girardi and Serena Girardi.

As a baseball player Joe’s first debut was on 4th April 1989, for Chicago cubs and played for them till 1992. From 1993 to 1995 Girardi played for Colarado Rockies and from 1996 to 1999 he was for the Nee York Yankees. And again from 2000-2002 he was with cubs. Finally he played for St. Louis Cardinal until he work away from his career as a player. His final match was on 28th September 2003. During his play time he had won several awards including all star in 2000. And won the World Series championship with his four wining streaks in 1996, 1998,1999and 2009. He also won the NL manager of the year in 2006.

As a broadcaster Girardi worked as a commentator for Yes Network in 2004. He also been for his Yankees team as a bench coach during the time. For Major League Baseball in Fox , he again worked as a colour commentator. He named as the manager of Marlins in 2005. Even though his first year as a manager for Yankees from 2007 was not very successful, his second year with them led them towards success. Recently on 24th October 2019, he was appointed as the manager of Philadelphia phillies.

Joe Girardi studied in East Peoria’s Neil Armstrong grade school and then at Academy of our lady/Spaulding institute in which began playing baseball for his team in its quarterback. He also played as a catcher. For his graduation Girardi, continued his studies in the Northwestern university, Evanston Illinois, from 1983 till 1986, and played for Northwestern team. In the year 1986 he was graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Joe Girardi was the first ever fresher to be elected as a president of fraternity at Northwestern.

The victim seemed to be struggling for his life and Girardi put his life at risk to save a fellow human being which was widely appreciated for his empathetic figure.

Joe had his mother died due to cervical cancer in 1984 while he was pursuing high higher studies at Northwestern university. He has one sister and three brothers. Gerald, Maria George and John Girardi. His father Jerry Girardi also died with the Alzheimer’s disease when he was 81 years of age.
