He started his broadcasting career after his college. Gray Hall started as the assistant production KTVT (CBS affiliated) in Dallas, Texas. Gray Hall got his first on-air job at WABG (Greenville, Mississippi). At WABG, Gray had to handle everything alone including writing and editing his stories, and then news casting them.

Before joining 6ABC, Gray worked with WWBT-TV and there he was working as an anchor of the high rated morning newscasts (for 5 years). He played a vital role in helping the communities with finding out scam.

Gray Hall also worked as a reporter at WTVJ (Miami Florida). This was before joining WWBT-TV. He also worked for four years at WCBD-TV in (Charleston, South Carolina). This job was only as a weekend anchor. Gray Hall was also awarded the Green Eyeshade Award for a feature story.

Gray Hall has also taught as a professor at Virginia Common Health University.

News That Shocked Everyone About Gray Hall

On October 22, 2017, Gray started the new cast. It was noon time, and his 3rd news cast of the day. Suddenly as reported by Gray, he started to loose his vision, and everything was slightly blurry to him. Gray tried his best to ignore his situation, and continue the news cast, but his condition was getting worse and they had to rush him to the hospital.

Later it was reported that he had a stroke, and doctors had to perform surgery. Gray said that he knew about his condition, that their is blood clotting (cyst) in his brain nerves, but decided to ignore it, because he thought it was a minor problem.

While discussing his condition, Gray said;

Basically I could have died. He said it sounded like I was basically dying

The cyst was removed surgically, and Gray was hospitalized for 3 to 4 weeks. He also spoke golden words of advice to the people watching him,

Health is wealth. You can have all the money in the world, but if you’re not healthy, what does it matter? Don’t dismiss any pain. Listen to your body, because your body is trying to keep you alive

Now he’s in good health, and is still working as an anchor.
